Jimeno Hats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Elodio in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Emilio Meder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jumeal AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jimeno Hats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Jumeal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Behe came free, but Jimeno Hats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jumeal AFC's Emilio Meder got a free kick in the 17th minute. Románticos FC's Aurelio Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Románticos FC booed when Jumeal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Casimiro Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Románticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oleg Grigoriev, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jimeno Hats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Elodio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Oleg Grigoriev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Eriberto Behe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Románticos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Behe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Abaurre made in the 33rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emilio Martino immediately put the ball in play. After some careless play in the Románticos FC defense, Oleg Grigoriev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Columbo. The Románticos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Columbo should have stopped the shot. Emilio Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hugo Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Grigoriev in the 41st minute of play forced Románticos FC's goalkeeper Hugo Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Grigoriev in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Elodio made a kick off. Eriberto Behe struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jimeno Hats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Románticos FC. Jumeal AFC's Jimeno Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Elodio in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute Eriberto Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Hats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Hats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jumeal AFC's Jimeno Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Behe in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Eriberto Behe made a precise shot to the right of Jimeno Hats. Jumeal AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Jumeal AFC's Cristobal Abaurre got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Oleg Grigoriev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Columbo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Hugo Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the game, Oleg Grigoriev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Columbo. Oleg Grigoriev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Jumeal AFC's zone, Casimiro Elodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Hats came out of the goal and Casimiro Elodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Románticos FC's attentive Prudencio Rayman managed to snatch the ball when Cristobal Abaurre made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Hugo Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Evangelista in the 97th minute of play. The Jumeal AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
