Hugo Columbo came out of the goal and Ciriaco Rocio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Rocio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Genna FC defense, Casimiro Elodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sauli Sillgren. The Genna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sauli Sillgren should have stopped the shot. Hugo Columbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Gordunescu in the 43rd minute. If Casimiro Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Lucas Barea made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Románticos FC's Maximino Maxin.
