The referee ignored BETIANA FC's protests and gave Remigio Omero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BETIANA FC's Remigio Omero got a free kick in the 12th minute. BETIANA FC's Calvin Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Remicio in the 14th minute of play. Abel Urti hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, BETIANA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Gartzea came free, but Calvin Masters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Efrain Victoro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rosendo Ubelteso to make any attempt to save it. After 20 minutes, Joel Damario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Chicos Tops and the BETIANA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes FC Chicos Tops got a freekick which was hit by Joel Damario. Joaquin Arlo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes FC Chicos Tops got a freekick which was hit by Albano Veto. 26 minutes into the match, FC Chicos Tops's goalkeeper Rosendo Ubelteso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Quiroga. When BETIANA FC's Angel Quiroga in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Gartzea to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteve Remicio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Calvin Masters skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th match minute, FC Chicos Tops was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Angel Quiroga put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Ubelteso. BETIANA FC's Calvin Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Oro in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of FC Chicos Tops booed when BETIANA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes FC Chicos Tops got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Maurino. Angel Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BETIANA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
