Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Ascencio got the match started through his kick off. In the 6thth minute of the game Nestor Ariando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SS Español's Javier Marz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Francescoli F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Galeno came free, but Maximino Santxol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Francescoli F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rios to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SS Español's Ciro Xabier got a free kick in the 18th minute. Nestor Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Javier Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Urki hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Francescoli F.C. booed when SS Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Francescoli F.C.'s Moises Behe tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Domingos Guillelmo's late challenge caught a SS Español's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Guillelmo helped the player get up and apologised. Javier Marz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Ariando in the 35th minute of the match. Javier Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Guillelmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Sal during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filomeno Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Javier Marz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Guillelmo in the 52nd minute. Paolo Segio charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Segio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pastor Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maximino Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcelo Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Llorienzo in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Francescoli F.C.'s Silvano Santo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Marz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Joaquin Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Silvano Santo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Javier Marz, 0-3. Pastor Llorienzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Santxol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Llorienzo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Francescoli F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximino Santxol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Feliberto Oskitz put in a rough tackle. In the 85th minute, one of SS Español:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SS Español. Moises Behe walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 89th minute Nestor Ariando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, SS Español's goalkeeper Javier Marz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Guillelmo. Javier Marz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Domingos Guillelmo sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Javier Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SS Español fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Francescoli F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
