Maximino Santxol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angel Quiroga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 18th match minute, BETIANA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Milio to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Calvin Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Leocadio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, one of BETIANA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Francescoli F.C.'s zone, Angel Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Santxol came out of the goal and Angel Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Maximino Santxol made a huge save. Angel Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Santxol having to interfere. In the 36th minute Nestor Ariando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Masters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Masters having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. Maximino Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Quiroga in the 53rd minute of play. When Francescoli F.C.'s Nestor Ariando in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Victoro in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Efrain Victoro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Francescoli F.C.'s Maximino Santxol. Maximino Santxol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calvin Masters made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Domingos Guillelmo sent off a good shot on target. BETIANA FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Domingos Guillelmo 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Piarres in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Santxol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BETIANA FC's Erubiel Nevada couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Francescoli F.C.. 72 minutes into the match, Efrain Victoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Santxol. Francescoli F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Victoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BETIANA FC! BETIANA FC:s Calvin Masters showed great skill when he stopped Moises Behe:s penalty. Calvin Masters was a little too slow when Moises Behe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-3. After having played for 81 minutes, Silvano Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Francescoli F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BETIANA FC's Angelo Santana got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Francescoli F.C. booed when BETIANA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvano Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Santxol having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angel Quiroga in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Santxol saved Francescoli F.C. from getting behind. Maximino Santxol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Quiroga in the 96th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Francescoli F.C.'s zone, Erubiel Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Santxol came out of the goal and Erubiel Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
