The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Angel Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Milio couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes, Remigio Omero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BETIANA FC and the mcgyver players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remigio Omero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, mcgyver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Santxol to maneuver through the defense. mcgyver's Zeledon Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Quiroga in the 19th minute of play. Tobias Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. mcgyver's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BETIANA FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Vladimiro Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, mcgyver's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Quiroga came free, but Zeledon Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. mcgyver's Aureliano Santxol managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Remigio Omero in the 35 minute of the game. After 42 played minutes mcgyver got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Gumaro. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tobias Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Zeledon Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Victoro in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Angelo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETIANA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Placido Oton made a precise shot to the right of Calvin Masters. BETIANA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 65 played minutes mcgyver got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Remicio. If Angel Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Angel Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. BETIANA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. mcgyver's Zeledon Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Quiroga in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Vladimiro Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Masters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Leocadio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Placido Oton came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the mcgyver fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Oton couldn't finish the play.
