An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Valentin Gordunescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Rocio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Genna FC booed when mcgyver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. mcgyver's Zeledon Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Seber in the 55th minute of play. Valentin Gordunescu took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Cordario. Zeledon Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.
