Mario Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Ulises Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Saverio Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Anaya in the 19th minute of play. Melchor Etxepare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordanis Babasidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FILETERO F.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cristo Sabin hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Saverio Ruisko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Leobardo. National Warriors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Ruisko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mario Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Anaya in the 33rd minute of play. Cornelio Tallia kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Ulises Chico lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Melchor Etxepare. 44 minutes into the match, National Warriors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Ruisko came free, but Mario Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind FILETERO F.C's goalkeeper Melchor Etxepare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Anaya in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Leobardo saved National Warriors FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Chico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of National Warriors FC booed when FILETERO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Cristo Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Ulises Chico managed to get in a good position for a shot. National Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Chico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Etxepare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melchor Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Chico in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Chico in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Etxepare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FILETERO F.C booed when National Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Oroitz charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Leobardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Ulises Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Etxepare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
