Epifanio Rencio's late challenge caught a Deportivo Maria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 27 minutes, Tobias Toli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FILETERO F.C and the Deportivo Maria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Maria booed when FILETERO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korneliusz Kaczanka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FILETERO F.C's zone, Gustavo Gutxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Etxepare came out of the goal and Gustavo Gutxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Anaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bairon Iriarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FILETERO F.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Epifanio Rencio hit a great ball. Melchor Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gustavo Gutxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Etxepare having to make a save. The supporters of FILETERO F.C booed when Deportivo Maria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, FILETERO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Osmundo in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Gustavo Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Maria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Orlando Orlo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baltasar Dominguez skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Anaya in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Maria's goalkeeper Baltasar Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Zacarias Osmundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Etxepare was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Baltasar Dominguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Ruisko in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Deportivo Maria's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Anaya came free, but Baltasar Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bairon Iriarte struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Melchor Etxepare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Maria. In the 96thth minute of the game Lucas Beltrán who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FILETERO F.C's Melchor Etxepare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Maria had played much better football throughout.
