Norberto Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Peru in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quijano FC's Cornelio Lorencio got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quijano FC's zone, Baldomero Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Peli came out of the goal and Baldomero Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ondino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Norberto Peli made a huge save. Norberto Peli made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Hugo Ondino sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Club Atlético Gatorei getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Omar Eufrasio hit a great ball. If Cornelio Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Perrando hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Quijano FC booed when Club Atlético Gatorei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Rodriguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Acuña having to make a save. Club Atlético Gatorei's Ovidio Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Solustiano in the 44th minute of play. Hugo Ondino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alejandro Rodriguez made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Edgard Peru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Peli. Quijano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Peru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Club Atlético Gatorei getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Omar Eufrasio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Gatorei's Omar Eufrasio got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Cirilo Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quijano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Gatorei the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Cirilo Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Baldomero Urtsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Rodriguez in the 76th minute of the match. Aurelio Guillelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ovidio Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Gelacio to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, one of Quijano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quijano FC. The referee gave Club Atlético Gatorei a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aivaras Jacys, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quijano FC's Norberto Peli. 3-1. Club Atlético Gatorei's Ovidio Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Napier in the 91st minute of play. Ovidio Acuña didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Quijano FC's Aurelio Guillelme shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Aurelio Guillelme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Guillelme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Gatorei had won after a very even match.
