In the 35th minute, Freddy Evarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Amauri Gaúcho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Sendoa. Alzaga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauri Gaúcho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 44th minute, Hector Eate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bondiolito F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After the first half Bondiolito F.C. were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Cesario to strike the kick off in the second half. Santos Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Gaúcho in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aurelio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 60th minute, Amauri Gaúcho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Sendoa. The goal made the score 0-6. Bondiolito F.C.'s Ezequiel Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Cesario in the 66th minute of play. Hector Eate's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sebastian Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bondiolito F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Salvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Santos Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
