The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Virila got free with Jose Fidele in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Dunixi in the 6th minute of the match. Alfonso Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Fidele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Derwin in the 13th minute of play forced Maggolo's goalkeeper Jonatan Lander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Derwin scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Lander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maggolo's Jonatan Lander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Cordario in the 16th minute of play. Alfonso Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Fidele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Virila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jose Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfonso Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Virila might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Fidele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Virila ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 played minutes Bye Bye Baby got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Abilio. Arnulfo Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonatan Lander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Bye Bye Baby's Jonathan Derwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Lander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Fidele having to interfere. Feliberto Arias struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jose Fidele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maggolo. Feliberto Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Arnaldo Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Derwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jonathan Derwin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonatan Lander. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 56th minute Alfonso Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bye Bye Baby's zone, Feliberto Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Fidele came out of the goal and Feliberto Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes, Arnulfo Sabin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bye Bye Baby and the Maggolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bye Bye Baby's Arnulfo Sabin got a free kick in the 64th minute. With an all-out effort, Bye Bye Baby's Jonatan Lander threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Derwin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Joaquin Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Alfonso Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maggolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Virila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Maggolo's Severino Gar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severino Gar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Maggolo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severino Gar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st minute, one of Maggolo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maggolo. 79 minutes into the match, Bye Bye Baby's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Arias came free, but Jose Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Lander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Derwin in the 80th minute of play. Joaquin Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Lander having to interfere. In the 91st minute Feliberto Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Feliberto Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Feliberto Arias made a precise shot to the right of Jose Fidele. Bye Bye Baby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Maggolo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bye Bye Baby's performance. The match ended with a win for Bye Bye Baby.
