When Constantino Virila came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cóndor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Virila couldn't finish the play. Valentin Gonchan made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Casimiro Conrao sent off a good shot on target. If Rene Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cóndor defense, Rene Herensuge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Gonchan. The Cóndor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Gonchan should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Rene Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Gonchan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cleto Edorta's late challenge caught a Uraguey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Edorta helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uraguey booed when Cóndor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Herensuge in the 30th minute of play forced Cóndor's goalkeeper Valentin Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Rene Herensuge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uraguey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 37th minute, Rene Herensuge made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gonchan. Cóndor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Uraguey's Rene Herensuge got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Rene Herensuge might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Gonchan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Herensuge ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gustavsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Gonchan. Gabriel Gustavsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Herensuge in the 59th minute of play forced Cóndor's goalkeeper Valentin Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes Cóndor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Herensuge who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Uraguey's Julian Iyan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Cóndor's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Gustavsson came free, but Valentin Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Uraguey's Rene Herensuge in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cóndor's goalie prevented a goal. Julian Iyan hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Uraguey's Elvio Baudelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Uraguey from getting a goal against them. Rene Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Valentin Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Banana in the 85th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Casimiro Conrao made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Gonchan. Cóndor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Uraguey fully deserved thier win.
