An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Herensuge in the 6th minute of play forced Gándara AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Gabriel Gustavsson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edelmiro Raymond. In the 12th minute Rene Herensuge suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Uraguey's Big Banana was substituted for Rene Herensuge. Gabriel Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Edelmiro Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uraguey. In the 21st match minute, Gándara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Uraguey's Gabriel Gustavsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Raymond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 25th minute, Higinio Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes of play Gándara AFC's Tadeo Baldovino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Gándara AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tadeo Baldovino hit a great ball. 0-3 became the score in the 29th minute when Gabriel Gustavsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Big Banana took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Raymond. Edelmiro Raymond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Edelmiro Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Big Banana in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Gándara AFC booed when Uraguey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Evarado got free with Elvio Baudelio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Gándara AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uraguey were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Evarado to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Uraguey's Big Banana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edelmiro Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Big Banana, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Gándara AFC's Edelmiro Raymond got control of the ball when Big Banana tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Gustavsson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Raymond saved Gándara AFC from getting behind. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Edelmiro Raymond got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Gándara AFC hanging dry this time. Maximino Mogel struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Edelmiro Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uraguey. When Uraguey's Gabriel Gustavsson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Gándara AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Raymond should have stopped the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Big Banana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uraguey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Big Banana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Gándara AFC's Edelmiro Raymond got control of the ball when Big Banana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Conrao succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 89th playminute. 97 minutes into the match, Gándara AFC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Raymond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Big Banana. The Gándara AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Uraguey's performance. The match ended with a win for Uraguey.
