Arsenio Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Abilio scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Raymond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Fidele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Rocendo in the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Teobaldo Evarado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gándara AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Evarado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Fidele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Teobaldo Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teobaldo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Higinio Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 22 minutes, Eustacio Martxel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bye Bye Baby and the Gándara AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Martxel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jose Fidele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Joaquin Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bye Bye Baby's zone, Tadeo Baldovino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Fidele came out of the goal and Tadeo Baldovino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th match minute, Gándara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Jonathan Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bye Bye Baby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Derwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Gándara AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Evarado. After the first half Bye Bye Baby were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute Tadeo Baldovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Gándara AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Erruki in the 59th minute. The corner led Gándara AFC's Saverio Erruki to fire away a dangerous shot which Jose Fidele despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edelmiro Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Derwin in the 62nd minute of play. Evelio Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bye Bye Baby's Jonathan Derwin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Raymond. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. A collision led to Bye Bye Baby getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Evelio Abilio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Tolino in the 79th minute of play forced Bye Bye Baby's goalkeeper Jose Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Evarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gándara AFC's Edelmiro Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Derwin in the 86th minute of play. When Delmiro Henric fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gándara AFC's protests and gave Delmiro Henric a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Gándara AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Henric to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Derwin in the 91st minute of play.
