Guaberto Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Elida getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Silvestre Paez hit a great ball. If Benito Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Moncho El Buitre's zone, Benito Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Santo came out of the goal and Benito Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Moncho El Buitre's Edgard Domenec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Beti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Avellaneda's late challenge caught a Moncho El Buitre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Avellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Benito Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Edgardo Frantzes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elida's Leon Beti. Leon Beti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elida's Leon Beti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Elida from getting a goal against them. Leon Beti made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Edgard Domenec sent off a good shot on target. If Enzo Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Peyo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Leon Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Frantzes in the 54th minute of play. Leon Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Domenec, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Leon Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Edgard Domenec put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Beti. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Edgardo Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moncho El Buitre's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Frantzes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Beti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Domenec's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Edgard Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. Moncho El Buitre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
