Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Rosio started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Moncho El Buitre getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leon Chuan hit a great ball. Luis Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Remigio Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santos Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Fantasmas Jr's Hernan Rafel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Remigio Santo but with some difficulty. Edgardo Frantzes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silverio Monico having to make a save. Ezequiel Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Silverio Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santos Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hernan Rafel fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Fantasmas Jr's protests and gave Hernan Rafel a yellow card for diving instead. Hernan Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Los Fantasmas Jr's Luis Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Remigio Azubeli had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 39th match minute, Moncho El Buitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Chuan to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Frantzes made a kick off. Edgardo Frantzes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Silverio Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Brion in the 57th minute of play. Los Fantasmas Jr's Santos Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Santos Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Brion struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Remigio Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Fantasmas Jr. After 68 played minutes Los Fantasmas Jr got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rosio. Ezequiel Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Brion struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Remigio Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Fantasmas Jr. With a little luck, Los Fantasmas Jr's Silverio Monico got control of the ball when Edgardo Frantzes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes Los Fantasmas Jr's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix Peyo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aquilino Goizeder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silverio Monico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ezequiel Koldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Brion in the 84th minute of play. Leon Chuan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Santos Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Santo having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
