Leon Beti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulão Paulista went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Freddy Caradaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Beti. Elida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Caradaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Paulão Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Leon Beti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of The Gunners F.C booed when Elida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Pagomari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes of play, The Gunners F.C's Paulão Paulista made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Beti was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st play minute Paulão Paulista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leon Beti. 5-0. 34 minutes into the game, The Gunners F.C's Gavino Fix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Beti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Arnoldo Lucero charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Lucero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnoldo Lucero hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Fix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Paulão Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Gunners F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, The Gunners F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Hotz came free, but Justino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Enzo Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Paulão Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gunners F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Paulista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Gavino Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gunners F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
