India Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Perrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alejandro Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Naranjito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Ferrer couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, India Fútbol Club's Gilberto Tino got control of the ball when Alejandro Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Naranjito AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than India Fútbol Club.
