After 15 minutes, Ermegildo Bras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elida and the Gondra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodoveo Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gondra's Clodoveo Tello got a free kick in the 17th minute. Enzo Hotz struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Naike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elida. Gustavo Naike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Hotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Severino Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Fliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Fliz in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Beti saved Elida from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Gondra's goalkeeper Gustavo Naike had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Avellaneda. Victorio Hurko kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Severino Fliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Beti was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Vinicio Florinio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gondra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Hotz made a kick off. If Severino Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erubiel Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elida's protests and gave Erubiel Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Erubiel Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Flizs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Leon Beti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vinicio Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Severino Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondra's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Fliz in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leon Beti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elida's Leon Beti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Elida from getting a goal against them. Leon Beti made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Severino Fliz sent off a good shot on target. Gondra's Vinicio Florinio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Alfonso Shepherd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gondra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elida the free kick. After 69 played minutes Gondra got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Shepherd. Erubiel Ignatius was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Severino Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gondra getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Severino Fliz hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Severino Fliz fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Severino Fliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. Severino Fliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Elida support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
