After recieving a nice pass, Gondra's Celso Seguinus tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gustavo Naike made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Fabio Socorro sent off a good shot on target. Santo Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Gondra's Alfonso Shepherd got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Severino Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Gustavo Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Socorro in the 55th minute of play. Severino Fliz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Santo Olentzaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danilo Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Santo Olentzaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Rogelio Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes, Gondra's Vinicio Florinio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Olentzaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gondra reached it. 75 minutes into the match, Gondra's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Socorro came free, but Gustavo Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Clib's goalkeeper Santo Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddy Baristo's late challenge caught a Gondra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Baristo helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Racing Clib's Santo Olentzaro got control of the ball when Severino Fliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Naike having to interfere. Racing Clib made a substitution. Baltasar Endura replaced Rogelio Belasko. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gondra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
