But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Hever couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Naike having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Gondra's goalkeeper Gustavo Naike had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Marino. When Naipe's Leonardo Marino in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gondra's goalie prevented a goal. In the 26th minute Severino Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Gondra's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Hever came free, but Gustavo Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonardo Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Manilan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gondra getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leonel Furman hit a great ball. Paulino Cesaro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Marino in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Naike saved Gondra from getting behind. Genaro Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The Naipe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gondra were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Odon made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Ivan Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes, Victorio Hurko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondra and the Naipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Naipe's Benigno Serafo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Naipe's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Odon came free, but Genaro Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Danilo Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Gondra echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Naipe had held the ball for most of the match.
