An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Frantzes in the 3rd minute of play forced Gondra's goalkeeper Gustavo Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Frantzes might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Naike. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Frantzes ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Odon charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Victorio Hurko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondra and the Moncho El Buitre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victorio Hurko hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leon Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Edgardo Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquilino Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ramon Egoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Santo having to make a save. Felix Peyo's late challenge caught a Gondra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Peyo helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Moncho El Buitre got a freekick which was hit by Felix Peyo. In the 27th minute, Edgard Domenec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Naike having to interfere. Remigio Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Egoitz in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Gondra's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Chuan came free, but Gustavo Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Severino Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Moncho El Buitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Chuan to maneuver through the defense. When Edgard Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Moncho El Buitre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Domenec couldn't finish the play. Ramon Egoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Remigio Santo made a huge save. Gustavo Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Chuan in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Fliz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Moncho El Buitre booed when Gondra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Hurko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, one of Gondra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gondra. Gustavo Naike had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Felix Peyo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgard Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gustavo Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Moncho El Buitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. If Ramon Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Egoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Remigio Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gustavo Naike stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Domenec's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Gondra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Florinio to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Remigio Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ramon Egoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Egoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Santo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Gondra's goalkeeper Gustavo Naike had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Domenec. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moncho El Buitre's goalkeeper Remigio Santo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Ramon Egoitz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Moncho El Buitre's Remigio Santo. Remigio Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramon Egoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Santo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gondra had won after a very even match.
