Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Solustiano in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Herensuge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aquilino Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Gaueko in the 9th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Bernardino Solustiano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aquilino Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Bilintx went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Gaueko in the 22nd minute of play. Eulalio Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the San Marco FC defense, Eulalio Gaueko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Ciano. The San Marco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Ciano should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Bilintx in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Ciano saved San Marco FC from getting behind. Eulalio Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ciano having to interfere. In the 41st minute Ramiro Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Monstruosa's Eulalio Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bilintx in the 45th minute of play forced San Marco FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Solustiano in the 47th minute of play forced La Monstruosa's goalkeeper Justino Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Solustiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Justino Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Eulalio Gaueko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 93 minutes in the game, Ramiro Bilintx fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aquilino Ciano having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Eulalio Gaueko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Monstruosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
