The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Gimenez during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cavalango AFC's Benigno Errolan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Leo Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Benigno Errolan might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Oto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Errolan ran back to his position shaking his head. The wind increased when Benigno Errolan made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Honorio Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devoto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Benigno Errolan made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Oto. Devoto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. David Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Cavalango AFC's Benigno Errolan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Oto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingos Gimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gilberto Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Devoto FC's Godofredo Irrintzi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Godofredo Irrintzi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Devoto FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Godofredo Irrintzi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 70th minute, one of Devoto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Devoto FC. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Cavalango AFC's Celedonio Gil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilberto Oto. Tadeo Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gilberto Oto made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Domingos Gimenez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Oto. Domingos Gimenez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Gilberto Oto was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Benigno Errolan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benigno Errolan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When Benigno Errolan came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cavalango AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Errolan couldn't finish the play. Gilberto Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Errolan in the 94th minute. Gilberto Oto went to the wrong direction when Celedonio Gil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cavalango AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
