The supporters of andapallabobo booed when Club Deportivo Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Demesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eduardo Jerrald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Deportivo Esperanza getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Salvador Fagildo hit a great ball. Eduardo Jerrald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Lehoi got free with Eduardo Jerrald in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Cugat in the 36th minute of play forced andapallabobo's goalkeeper Leon Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Justo Orlondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. andapallabobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Orlondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Deportivo Esperanza getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ceferino Favila hit a great ball. Club Deportivo Esperanza's Eduardo Jerrald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Esperanza from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Beturian in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Jerrald saved Club Deportivo Esperanza from getting behind. Julio Cugat came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Gaxan could save by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Esperanza's Lucas Venerando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Gaxan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. andapallabobo's Leon Gaxan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save andapallabobo from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Club Deportivo Esperanza's Generoso Sidoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 81 played minutes Club Deportivo Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Sidoro. In the 91st match minute, Club Deportivo Esperanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Fagildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Club Deportivo Esperanza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Deportivo Esperanza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
