Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geronimo Maldonado started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Geronimo Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fausto Odon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Geronimo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Odon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Leo Domeka in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Casilda's Orlando Osorio. 20 minutes into the match, Casilda's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Cefero came free, but Fausto Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Leonel Txordon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Devoto FC booed when Casilda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Oto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Modesto Chico. 36 minutes into the game, Devoto FC's Edelmiro Porfiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto Odon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Maldonado in the 40th minute of play forced Casilda's goalkeeper Fausto Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Urbano Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devoto FC's Teofilo Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Pirro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Maldonado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Odon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Casilda's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Maldonado came free, but Fausto Odon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Maldonado in the 59th minute of play forced Casilda's goalkeeper Fausto Odon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Pirro in the 62nd minute of play forced Devoto FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Maldonado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Odon saved Casilda from getting behind. Gilberto Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Pirro in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Casilda getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aldo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Casilda's Fausto Odon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Casilda from getting a goal against them. Honorio Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fausto Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Casilda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. When Eliseo Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Devoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Vellito couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Casilda booed when Devoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Delfino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Oto. Devoto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute, Aldo Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Odon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Maldonado's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Gilberto Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Pirro in the 91st minute of the match. Fausto Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Casilda's goalkeeper Fausto Odon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Cefero. Devoto FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
