The referee ignored andapallabobo's protests and gave Isidro Gonsalvo a yellow card for diving instead. Trinidad y To´Lovago made a substitution. Marcelino Dolfos replaced Hélder Coelho. Isidro Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Angelo Tulio's late challenge caught a andapallabobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Tulio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of andapallabobo booed when Trinidad y To´Lovago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes andapallabobo got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Lehoi. 18 minutes into the game, Trinidad y To´Lovago's Angelo Tulio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Gaxan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Justo Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Jonathan Emeterio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinidad y To´Lovago and the andapallabobo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of andapallabobo booed when Trinidad y To´Lovago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Trinidad y To´Lovago's goalkeeper Paulino Endura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Gonsalvo. After 31 played minutes Trinidad y To´Lovago got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Emeterio. Aldo Demesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Endura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Trinidad y To´Lovago were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulino Endura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justo Orlondo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Amato during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trinidad y To´Lovago getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aureliano Amato hit a great ball. Justo Orlondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paulino Endura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Desiderio Galindo with Aldo Demesio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When andapallabobo's Cristobal Lehoi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Theophil Grotthaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Gaxan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, andapallabobo's Cristobal Lehoi got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Trinidad y To´Lovago defense, Isidro Gonsalvo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Endura. The Trinidad y To´Lovago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Endura should have stopped the shot. andapallabobo's Leon Gaxan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save andapallabobo from getting a goal against them. When andapallabobo's Isidro Gonsalvo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trinidad y To´Lovago's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute of the match andapallabobo got a corner. Trinidad y To´Lovago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Lope ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The andapallabobo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trinidad y To´Lovago had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
