Spectators: 7377 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgard Osoro started the match with the kick off. Rene Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Cristofol hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada's Gabriel Iago got a free kick in the 14th minute. Serafin Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Orti in the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Segundo C's Rene Caitano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Arotza. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. In the 20th minute, Rene Caitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Arotza having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Encrucijada's zone, Rene Caitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Arotza came out of the goal and Rene Caitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Froilan Montrelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Caitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Arotza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Edgard Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encrucijada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Osoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes of play, Encrucijada's Rogelio Eli made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Raymon was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Roano got free with Serafin Raymon in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rene Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segundo C's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Caitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Silviano charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Silviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artemio Silviano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Rene Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Caitano in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Arotza saved Encrucijada from getting behind. In the 59th match minute, Encrucijada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Iago to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Segundo C booed when Encrucijada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Silviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Montrelle in the 71st minute of play forced Encrucijada's goalkeeper Teo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Marko during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Roque Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Encrucijada's Teo Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Caitano in the 81st minute of play. If Felipe Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rene Caitano sped through Encrucijada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teo Arotza. After recieving a nice pass, Encrucijada's Fernando Oliviero tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Segundo C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
