Fulgencio Jerano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achebe Aguele having to make a save. Teofilo Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achebe Aguele having to interfere. Fulgencio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theobald FC's Achebe Aguele proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Theobald FC from getting a goal against them. Honorato Mantzio charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Mantzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 60 minutes into the game, one of Theobald FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. PierRock's Fulgencio Jerano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Achebe Aguele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Orain in the 75th minute of play forced Theobald FC's goalkeeper Achebe Aguele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Fulgencio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Theobald FC booed when PierRock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Orain couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PierRock played a much better game than Theobald FC and deserved their victory. The Theobald FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
