Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucio Valentine took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, El Rayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Ciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Benedicto Jaen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Rayo's Eloy Chepe didn't even have to move. In the 8th minute, Lucio Valentine reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Macerio. The goal made the score 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Lucio Valentine notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PierRock's Miguel Macerio. Miguel Macerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fulgencio Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the PierRock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Jerano couldn't finish the play. Miguel Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Valentine in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Banegas during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, PierRock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Banegas to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Valentine struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Miguel Macerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Rayo. Eloy Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Orain in the 38th minute of play. Eloy Chepe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Orain's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, El Rayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Gizon to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Macerio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PierRock's zone, Saul Garikoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Macerio came out of the goal and Saul Garikoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Orain was the one to do the kick off. Gualterio Ciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Miguel Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Jerano got free with Eloy Chepe in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucio Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Miguel Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Macerio having to interfere. Eloy Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Orain in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th match minute, PierRock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Luzea to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, El Rayo's Lucio Valentine made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Macerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75thth minute of the game Teofilo Orain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Rayo's Eloy Chepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Poz during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucio Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Macerio having to interfere. If Gualterio Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Valentine during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Fulgencio Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the PierRock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Jerano couldn't finish the play. El Rayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
