Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baltasar Gil started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Ezequiel Cristos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Paublo came out of the goal and Ezequiel Cristos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Cristos got free with Teodoro Paublo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Huinganco booed when Club Atlético River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Roque Sauveur hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Bruno Ler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Paublo came out of the goal and Bruno Ler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bruno Ler came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Huinganco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Ler couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Paublo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ezequiel Cristos sent off a good shot on target. Teodoro Paublo was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Bruno Ler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Ler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 29 minutes, Angelo Ignazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huinganco and the Club Atlético River Plate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Huinganco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Huinganco's Bruno Ler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Paublo. That made the score 2-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 34th minute, Baltasar Gil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Mero during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aureliano Mero hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Baltasar Gil put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roque Dimas. Cristo Etor's late challenge caught a Huinganco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Etor helped the player get up and apologised. Cristo Etor hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Club Atlético River Plate's Teodoro Paublo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético River Plate from getting a goal against them. In the 46thth minute of the game Roque Sauveur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huinganco's Roque Dimas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Ler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Gil in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roque Dimas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Reynaldo Bras fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huinganco's protests and gave Reynaldo Bras a yellow card for diving instead. If Ezequiel Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Bruno Ler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético River Plate's Teodoro Paublo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Gil struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Roque Dimas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético River Plate. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Cristos in the 65th minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Teodoro Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Jacindo's late challenge caught a Huinganco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Jacindo helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Club Atlético River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Placido Jacindo. Ezequiel Cristos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Paublo. Teodoro Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 71st minute, Bruno Ler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Paublo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Placido Jacindo hit a great ball. Ezequiel Cristos took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Paublo. Teodoro Paublo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético River Plate's Baltasar Gil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roque Dimas. That made the score 5-3 after 80 minutes of play. If Bruno Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Ler in the 89th minute of play. Teodoro Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Cristos in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Ezequiel Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Dimas made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Baltasar Gil sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Ler in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Teodoro Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huinganco had won after a very even match.
