Vicente Ramone took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Ostots. Benicio Ostots dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ahrenfeld FC's Benicio Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Nisio in the 35th minute of play. Abel Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Ismael Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahrenfeld FC's Benicio Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Handi in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Rosio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match Ramon Txatxu shot from a long distance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Nisio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benicio Ostots came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Nisio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 64th minute. Fernando Estevez charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Monroe AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 78 minutes of play Ahrenfeld FC's Leo Erdiano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monroe AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
