Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Bordat kicked off to start the match. Freddy Baladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Bordat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hipatía FC's Virgilio Jusepe got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Octavio Sasoin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ariel Txurio. In the 9th minute, Lino Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Bordat in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Baladi saved FC Funes City from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Jacinto Cefero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Funes City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hipatía FC the free kick. After 20 played minutes FC Funes City got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Bortzaioriz. Guido Lazcano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Octavio Sasoin made a huge save. Guido Lazcano in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Octavio Sasoin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Funes City's Guido Lazcano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octavio Sasoin. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Guido Lazcano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavio Sasoin, 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Hipatía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Claus came free, but Octavio Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonardo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Funes City's Guido Lazcano in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hipatía FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Hipatía FC defense, Albino Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Sasoin. The Hipatía FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Sasoin should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Lazcano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Guido Lazcano put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Octavio Sasoin. 58 minutes into the match, Albino Lauaxeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Sasoin. Hipatía FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albino Lauaxeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Guido Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albino Lauaxeta came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Funes City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Lauaxeta couldn't finish the play. Octavio Sasoin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Hipatía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Lazcano came free, but Octavio Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Guido Lazcano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Funes City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 78th match minute, FC Funes City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Honorato Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tiburcio Rocendo fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hipatía FC's protests and gave Tiburcio Rocendo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hipatía FC's Tiburcio Rocendo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, FC Funes City's Honorato Claus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Sasoin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When FC Funes City's Honorato Claus in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Funes City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
