After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Abascal to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Lecueder got a freekick which was hit by German Brion. Lecueder's Clemente Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Enmanuel in the 56th minute of play. Clemente Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Abascal in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Enzo Lander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lecueder fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Lecueder's German Brion got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Abascal in the 66th minute of play forced Lecueder's goalkeeper Clemente Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Salvador Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Chago's late challenge caught a Lecueder's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lecueder's Enzo Lander managed to work through Guañizuil FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Enzo Lander dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 86 minutes of play Guañizuil FC's Nicasio Benat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Guañizuil FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nicasio Benat hit a great ball. Lecueder's Enzo Lander got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guañizuil FC's Benjamin Enmanuel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Enzo Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Robustiano Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Clemente Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guañizuil FC.
