Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Abascal to make the kick off. Guañizuil FC's Robustiano Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Claus in the 53rd minute of play. FC Funes City's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Claus in the 79th minute of the match. FC Funes City's Guido Lazcano came free and shot a quick shot against goal 86 minutes in the game, fortunately Robustiano Florian had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Benat during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Honorato Claus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Guido Lazcano from a close distance when the talented Robustiano Florian managed to make a qualified save. Guañizuil FC's players were relieved.
