Spectators: 7318 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Racing Club's David Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Fernado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Toro in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, David Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but David Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Jenaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Toro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Humberto Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Montel in the 11th minute of play forced RB Palazzo's goalkeeper Constantino Jenaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Montel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Jenaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Racing Club's Humberto Fernado got control of the ball when Fabian Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Racing Club's Humberto Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Benicio Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Fernado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RB Palazzo's Benicio Eate got a free kick in the 33rd minute. David Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Humberto Fernado made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benicio Eate was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Toro in the 54th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Humberto Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Santos took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Jenaro. Constantino Jenaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 68th minute, Rigoberto Toro made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Fernado. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Valentin Luar charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Luar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Valentin Luar hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the RB Palazzo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
