Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonardo Bordat got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Lino Mouricio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robustiano Florian skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Abascal in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Sasoin saved Hipatía FC from getting behind. Cornelio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Octavio Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Leonardo Bordat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Placido Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Herminio Frantzes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Hipatía FC's Maximino Petrigai got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Hipatía FC's Placido Bertin tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Octavio Sasoin was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Cornelio Abascal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cornelio Abascal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hipatía FC's zone, Prudencio Fiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Sasoin came out of the goal and Prudencio Fiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Hipatía FC's Octavio Sasoin got control of the ball when Benjamin Enmanuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Abascal in the 43rd minute of play forced Hipatía FC's goalkeeper Octavio Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Octavio Sasoin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Cornelio Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
