With his leg Arnaldo Demesio managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when UNION 1989 FC's Santiago Lando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Ruperto Perutxo in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UNION 1989 FC's Baldomiro Chesus. In the 97th minute, Santiago Lando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Carpinteros lml fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UNION 1989 FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
