With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Orlandus in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Sancho saved Rueda from getting behind. Hay Hielo Frio F.C's attentive Silvestre Ayala managed to snatch the ball when Teo Abadie made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Hay Hielo Frio F.C's Leonel Orlandus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Sancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rueda's Emanuel Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Ado in the 20th minute of play. The throw-in from Teo Abadie in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hay Hielo Frio F.C's Silvestre Ayala. In the 31st minute of the match Gerardo Gumaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Shantala skillfully saved the ball. If Leonel Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hay Hielo Frio F.C booed when Rueda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rueda's zone, Raul Ado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Sancho came out of the goal and Raul Ado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Lertxun to strike the kick off in the second half. Ulises Vasco hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Raul Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hay Hielo Frio F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Ado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florencio Venceslao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Sancho having to make a save. After 67 played minutes Rueda got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Oliveiro. Emanuel Sancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Orlandus in the 70th minute. Emanuel Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Rueda's goalkeeper Emanuel Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Orlandus. Leonel Orlandus might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Sancho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Orlandus ran back to his position shaking his head. Rueda's Emanuel Sancho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Rueda from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute of the game Teo Abadie made a throw-in which Aaron Oliveiro played forward. Emanuel Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
