The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Carrodilla's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bernebe came free, but Armando Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Epifanio Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Ascencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Bernebe's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Carlos Bernebe hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Armando Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Epifanio Quinteros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justo Aureo. The goal made the score 1-0. Armando Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Katia in the 29th minute of the match. Hipolito Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Ascencio having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Hipolito Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUIFA ARTIME's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hipolito Katia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Pancho during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ceferino Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Damaso Faro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hipolito Katia managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUIFA ARTIME's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Katia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gilberto Cordeara fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrodilla's protests and gave Gilberto Cordeara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Gilberto Cordeara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Katia took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Ascencio. Armando Ascencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Bernebe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Quinteros in the 59th minute of play forced LUIFA ARTIME's goalkeeper Justo Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Fix scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Aureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Katia in the 65th minute of the match. Armando Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Katia in the 69th minute of play. Armando Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Florencio Salvatore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Ascencio, 2-2. The supporters of LUIFA ARTIME booed when Carrodilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Ascencio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hipolito Katia. Ceferino Pancho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LUIFA ARTIME players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
