With a little luck, Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s Octavio Nerio got control of the ball when Serafin Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elpidio Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Nerio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Neron in the 19th minute of play forced C. A. Ituzaingo's goalkeeper Aldo Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Octavio Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Polentzi was the one to do the kick off. Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s Danilo Neron got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, C. A. Ituzaingo's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Polentzi came free, but Aldo Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Serafin Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Ituzaingo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gaston Rioja was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. In the 62nd match minute, Abofeteame la Burra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Rioja to maneuver through the defense. When Severino Sanson came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the C. A. Ituzaingo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Sanson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Abofeteame la Burra F.C.'s zone, Serafin Osmundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Nerio came out of the goal and Serafin Osmundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Sanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Danilo Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Nardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Neron in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Elpidio Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Ituzaingo's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Neron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Nardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of C. A. Ituzaingo booed when Abofeteame la Burra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Nardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Neron in the 95th minute. Saul Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Nardo having to interfere. Abofeteame la Burra F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though C. A. Ituzaingo had controlled the match.
