The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Aureliano Faro put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carrodilla fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Carrodilla:s Armando Ascencio showed great skill when he stopped Saturnino Sagrario:s penalty. Gaston Abajas's late challenge caught a Ascensión's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carrodilla's Gaston Abajas got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Carrodilla's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Muno came free, but Armando Ascencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ascensión's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 38 minutes into the match, Leandro Muno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Ascencio, 3-2. In the 44th match minute, Carrodilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Carrodilla's Armando Ascencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Carrodilla from getting a goal against them. Armando Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Baumar in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Tibalt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute, Sebastian Baumar made a precise shot to the right of Armando Ascencio. Carrodilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Armando Ascencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Tibalt went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ascensión had played much better football throughout.
