In the 11th minute Yosua Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Yosua Cabezas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Ubelteso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Lima getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leon Eneas hit a great ball. Yosua Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yosua Cabezas in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Yosua Cabezas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lima's Alejo Ubelteso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Flor to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Ingvar Dalström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Ubelteso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yosua Cabezas in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Ubelteso saved Lima from getting behind. WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Federico Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Mauricio Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Lope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Matias Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yosua Cabezas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Ubelteso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yosua Cabezas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gennaro Gattuso came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennaro Gattuso couldn't finish the play. Lima's Alejo Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yosua Cabezas in the 58th minute of play. Mauricio Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ubelteso having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Marinus Lamey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejo Ubelteso. Marinus Lamey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Radoslaw Radzyminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Eneas, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lima's zone, Yosua Cabezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Ubelteso came out of the goal and Yosua Cabezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Matias Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Yosua Cabezas came free, but Alejo Ubelteso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Ubelteso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yosua Cabezas's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Yosua Cabezas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lima's goalkeeper Alejo Ubelteso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lima throughout the match.
