Damaso Christobal scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Garaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Ricardo Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Oinatz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Pablo Machado sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Andres Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Mantzio in the 36th minute of the match. When Higuera FC's Ricardo Farias in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castaño AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Americo Teofilio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Mantzio made a kick off. Castaño AFC's Pablo Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Oinatz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Castaño AFC's Florentino Mantzio. But to his dismay, Florentino Mantzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A collision led to Higuera FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fausto Presebal hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Damaso Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Andres Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Castaño AFC's zone, Damaso Christobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Garaona came out of the goal and Damaso Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Higuera FC's Damaso Christobal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Pablo Machado scored 4-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Oinatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Machado in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Castaño AFC's Pablo Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Oinatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Mantzio in the 87th minute of play forced Higuera FC's goalkeeper Damian Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Farias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Evaristo Garaona skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 90th minute, Higuera FC's Damaso Christobal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
