The supporters of Castaño AFC booed when Jackeños was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Ur didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Jackeños's Cristo Charro got control of the ball when Pablo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cristo Charro made a huge save. After 32 minutes, Tomás Pitin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jackeños and the Castaño AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomás Pitin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pablo Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Cai struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Evaristo Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jackeños. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Duardo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Garaona saved Castaño AFC from getting behind. Orlando Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Orlando Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Mantzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Osmundo in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Castaño AFC's Evaristo Garaona got control of the ball when Orlando Cai tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Castaño AFC's zone, Anacleto Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Garaona came out of the goal and Anacleto Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Orlando Cai fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jackeños's protests and gave Orlando Cai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jackeños getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Orlando Cai hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Jackeños's Anacleto Duardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evaristo Garaona. Evaristo Garaona yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 72nd minute, Jackeños's Orlando Cai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Jackeños's Jose Casado was substituted for Tomás Pitin. Anacleto Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Garaona having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Cai got free with Evaristo Garaona in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Castaño AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Igor Calisto hit a great ball. Cleto Munio fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 83rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Cristo Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Emilio Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jackeños's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Cai in the 92nd minute. Emilio Bastiaro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castaño AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, Jackeños's Cleto Munio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Evaristo Garaona.
