Higuera FC's Julian Olentzaro suffered a sore thigh after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Abilio during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leandro Abilio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Patricio Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Marcial Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Farias's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Farias in the 22nd minute of play forced Frontera's goalkeeper Marcial Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Frontera's Romeo Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Celedonio Incendio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Pelagius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Farias in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Pelagius saved Frontera from getting behind. Damaso Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marcial Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Farias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Leonides Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marciano Horado hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Garaile kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Oinatz. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Igor Garaile made the kick off in the second half. Igor Garaile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Igor Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Farias's late challenge caught a Frontera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Farias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Higuera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Farias to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Igor Garaile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frontera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Erubiel Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Farias was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leonides Paublo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marcial Pelagius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higuera FC. Leonides Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. Higuera FC's Celedonio Incendio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Frontera. Celedonio Incendio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Pelagius having to make a save. Celedonio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Frontera were victorious despite being under pressure from Higuera FC for much of the match.
