Alejo Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes of play, Castaño AFC's Pablo Machado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Ubelteso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leon Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Evaristo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lima getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Evaristo Hori hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Pablo Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Lima got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Piarres. Pablo Machado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Alejo Ubelteso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Evaristo Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Eneas in the 34th minute of the match. If Pablo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Castaño AFC's Florentino Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Emesto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Castaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Machado. Pablo Machado stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Lima's defenders and the ball went out. Castaño AFC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Pablo Machado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Mantzio to make the kick off. Leon Eneas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Evaristo Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lima. 54 minutes into the match, Castaño AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Garaona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Henry. Americo Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Mantzio in the 67th minute of play forced Lima's goalkeeper Alejo Ubelteso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Ubelteso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pablo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alejo Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lima's zone, Pablo Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Ubelteso came out of the goal and Pablo Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Florentino Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castaño AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Mantzio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Ubelteso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Castaño AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lima's performance. The match ended with a win for Lima.
