In the 19th minute of the match Feliberto Medardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Pelagius skillfully saved the ball. Erubiel Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Radzyminski having to interfere. When Marinus Lamey fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's protests and gave Marinus Lamey a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Marinus Lamey got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yosua Cabezas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Pelagius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Radoslaw Radzyminski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Dalström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Berriotxoa charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Berriotxoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romeo Berriotxoa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Yosua Cabezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marcial Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB's Yosua Cabezas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half WEST BUSCAS ATHLETIC CLUB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Garaile to make the kick off. Marcial Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yosua Cabezas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yosua Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. Ingvar Dalström might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Pelagius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Dalström ran back to his position shaking his head. Yosua Cabezas took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Pelagius. Marcial Pelagius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marcial Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ingvar Dalström sent off a good shot on target. Igor Garaile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Radzyminski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yosua Cabezas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Pelagius saved Frontera from getting behind. Igor Garaile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th of the match, Yosua Cabezas tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Marcial Pelagius got in the way and made a wonderful save. Marcial Pelagius made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Yosua Cabezas sent off a good shot on target. Frontera's Marcial Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yosua Cabezas in the 97th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Yosua Cabezas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Pelagius. Frontera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yosua Cabezas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.
