In the 10th minute Erubiel Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Tauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 12 minutes on the clock, Cleto Gergori commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Vagues FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joaquin Tolino shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Paul in the 15th minute of play forced Vagues FC's goalkeeper Tomás Tauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Ioritz in the 16th minute of the match. Erubiel Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Tauro having to interfere. Tomás Tauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Ticucho FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tião Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ticucho FC's Erubiel Paul slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Tauro. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. Erubiel Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Tauro made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Erubiel Paul sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Paul to strike the kick off in the second half. Erubiel Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute.
